On April 8, 2019, SUS signed a US $100 million loan agreement with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), which provided financing for SUS to build a low-carbon Eco-industrial Park.

Jackie B. Surtani, director of Southeast Asia, East Asia and Pacific infrastructure financing division of ADB's private sector business bureau, said: "SUS is a pioneer of China's environmental protection industry. Its waste incineration facilities can meet strict air emission standards and realize resource recovery in Eco-industrial Park. These facilities are community-centered, and the community project site covers garbage museums and artistic architectural structures. " He saw the signing as the beginning of long-term cooperation between the two sides. Through strict and meticulous investigation, ADB has given full trust to the technology and construction capacity of SUS, thus opening the prelude of cooperation.

Dr. Long Jisheng, responded: "the cooperation with ADB will help SUS speed up the development of multiple projects and provide better services for the governments, and people in the areas where waste-to-energy projects are needed. SUS cherishes the opportunity to establish a long-term cooperative relationship with ADB. "

China is the largest producer of municipal solid waste in the world, with a waste production of 215 million tons in 2017. It is expected that this number will increase to 500 million tons by 2025. The project supported by this loan of ADB can realize the harmless treatment of 1.75 million tons of domestic waste, provide about 435.5 million kwh of clean electricity, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 1.17 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. In addition, the project will create at least 150 new jobs, including more than 30 operation jobs for women, and increase their employment opportunities by providing technical training for women.

The signing of the contract once again shows the high recognition of SUS technology and services by the international community, and is another important event for SUS to move towards internationalization. On the afternoon of March 25, 2019, local time in France, under the witness of the leaders of China and France, SUS Environment signed the "Renewable Energy Development Platform" with China Investment Corporation, French National Investment Bank, and French Qair at the Elysee Palace Co-construction work agreement", which locked the first batch of 2 billion euro project investment intention. The agreement is a pragmatic cooperation between the French side in response to China's "Belt and Road" initiative, and will focus on cooperation in the development of the "Belt and Road" third-party market. China Investment Corporation and the French National Investment Bank in the four parties of the agreement are both national sovereign funds. They jointly chose SUS as the technology and equipment provider for future cooperation projects, which demonstrated the full trust of the two governments in SUS. It also meant that developed countries highly recognized SUS's technology and services.
